The Aviator is a biographical drama that shows the legendary director and aviator Howard Hughes' career, from the late 1920's to the mid-1940's. This film was released in 2004 and was filmed in USA, had 11 indications of the Academy Awards Nominations and won 3 Globe Golden Awards. Tells the history of Howard Hughes and his career in the airplanes industry with the Hughes Aviaton and his career with the films. Hughes (Leonardo de Caprio) decided to use his fortune from his father drill in the most expensive film for that years, Hughes wanted to make this film independent of Hollywood, he sets out to make a movie unlike anyother performing his own outrageos aerial stunts and designing his own aircrafts. The Aviator don't explores just the achievements but the emotional life of Howard Hughes including his love with two Hollywood stars, Katharine Hepburn (Cate Blanchett) and Ava Gardner (Kate Beckinsale); as weel as Hughes competiotion with PanAm visionary head Juan Trippe (Alec Baldwin); his relationship with his right-hand man Noah Dietrich (John Reilly); his public battles with Senator Owen Brewster (Alan Alda); and the devasting airplane crash and phobias that led him to ultimately withdray from the world.

In my opnion, it's one of the best films that I ever seen, with just one bad thing, the film is too long, but I recommend to everybody and you will really enjoy.
